Things on my desk

Here are some things that are on my desk right now.

1) A lovely christmas card illustrated by Jane Koo. (I think this is the greatest illustration ever, needs a frame).

2) A little notebook sent to me from Mark Caneso from pprwrkstudio. Mark also runs PSType.

3) The handbill for the Group Hug New Years Eve show that Byron Kopman brought by for me.

Some pictures of things I have eaten (!)

Just looking through my camera and found some pictures of things I have eaten. Hit the jump to look at them.

The Future

blg_thefuture

Just put together this poster for the Group Hug new years eve show. I basically got a brief of “do something space themed and mystical, it’s called the future”. Pretty fun little project. Check out the facebook page for more info on the event.

WZRDZ ♫

blg_wzrdz

My friend Bryce’s band WZRDZ played the Astoria last friday night. Here’s a quick picture I took. It was pretty awesome, it’s nice to see a band in Vancouver who don’t take themselves super seriously and aren’t trying to be the next Joy Division.

More bike stuff!

blg_wheel

My buddy Mark at Rain City Bikes just built up my rear wheel for me. I picked it up tonight and am super stoked on how it turned out. I threw on a tire when I got home and took some pictures. Hit the jump for a couple more pictures.

Defgrip ·•●

blg_purplerain

I’m writing this after getting back from an epic game of doubles ping pong with David Lang, Tom Chung, and Harrison Boyce. I don’t want to blow the spot, but the Gage residency in UBC has awesome ping pong tables for students to use, and it’s super easy to just walk in and use them. Anyway, Harrison was nice enough to hook up one of the shirts he made for Defgrip (the website Harrison runs for those unfamiliar). If you aren’t familiar with Defgrip I suggest you check it out. Hit the jump to check out the custom stamp tag.
